On two early September evenings,  the Wroclaw Centennial Hall brought together prominent artists representing completely different musical worlds, i.e. the grand classic of contemporary music Krzysztof Penderecki, the icon of electronic sounds Aphex Twin and the legendary Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood. They premiered two compositions performed with OCTAVA ensemble and the Chamber Orchestra of the City of Tychy conducted by maestro Marek Moś. These world premiers  presented at the European Congress of Culture in Wroclaw became the highlights of the Polish EU Presidency in 2011, attracting some ten thousand spectators to the Wroclaw Centennial Hall.

The concerts were delivered with top-notch technology, including powerful spherical sound system, modern multimedia and visual scene design (visualisations, laser and light show). The project paved the way to breaking the barriers and blurring the borders between classical music and ambitious entertainment. The collaboration of Krzysztof Penderecki with Jonny Greenwood and Aphex Twin became a major global artistic event, discussed across the world as an unprecedented and unique musical project.
